ACTFR staff changes

Leo Lymburner said farewell to ACTFR in mid-January. He now works as a Remote Sensing Application Specialist with Geoscience Australia in Canberra.

Vern Veitch left us late March, to take up a councillor position in the new Townsville City Council.

In the same week as Vern Veitch left us, DJ Bulsink started here to do his 5 month internship, a requirement of his Masters of Spatial Science. He will be helping us with projects in the area of remote sensing and GIS.

And Kate Gegg has re-joined ACTFR: she used to work at the ACTFR laboratory in 1998. She will be working at the ACTFR Laboratory Services Unit part time as a laboratory assistant.
