Glenn is a Technical Officer with over 20 years of experience in the tropics. Before joining ACTFR he was employed at the Australian Institute for Marine Science (AIMS) where he provided technical support to a range of projects including the design and fabrication of experimental and research equipment and facilities. With advanced skills in carpentry, joining, as well as fibreglassing, Glenn is a valuable member of the ACTFR team. His other qualifications include a private pilot's license with Night VFR rating and a Recreational Shipmaster's license.

At ACTFR, his latest projects include the design and fabrication of automatic floodwater sampling devices, and most importantly, the operation and management of the aquatic ecotoxicology laboratory. This requires high levels of precision in the design, establishment and handling of very sensitive equipment used in oxygen limitation studies with native fish.
